"As part of Cultural Inclusive, we're incredible proud to be organising this year's Sheffield Lunar Chinese New Year Festival. Our mission is to create an inclusive platform that celebrates the richness and diversity of all cultures, and events like this offer a perfect opportunity to showcase that."

This annual celebration brings people together from all walks of life to honour the traditions of Lunar New Year through dazzling performances, cultural displays and culinary delights. Among the highlights for this year is World Champion Acrobatic Lion Dance from Foshan, China, a thousand lanterns and 12 great zodiac signs displayed in Sheffield City Centre.

Support from our sponsors would play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. The ultimate aim of this event is to support a cause close to the heart of Sheffield - the Sheffield Children's Hospital. By becoming a sponsor, your organisation will not only play a vital role in promoting cultural inclusivity but also contribute meaningfully to the welfare of our city's children.

As a headline sponsor you will receive:

Our Journey

For decades, Sheffield has celebrated the Lunar New Year with vibrant events, including gala performances, workshops and activities, drawing an even wider audience.

Building on that success, Cultural Inclusive is expanding the event further for 2025. The festival will offer more love performances, food stalls and activities that highlight both Chinese traditions and Sheffield's rich cultural diversity. Our goal is to create an inclusive celebration where everyone can come together to appreciate and enjoy the city's multicultural spirit.

The event reached an estimated audience of over 750,000 through a mix of TV, radio, print and online media. Coverage includes ITV Calendar News, which alone had confirmed viewers of over 300,000, with an estimated total AVE (Advertising Valve Equivalent) of over £50k. The event also featured on the BBC website and Radio Sheffield.

Sheffield BID reported a 46% increase in city-centre footfall during the Lunar New Year celebrations. Key locations saw significant increases, such as Fargate (37.3%) and Division Street (46.8%). We aim to double the figure in 2025.

30 food, drink and market stalls participated, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Key community groups such as the Sheffield Children's Hospital and The Confucius Institute were involved in outreach efforts.
